Delivery Models Offshore
Delivery Model
We set up offshore delivery models for our clients. As a first step we appoint
a manager to interface with the client and monitor the progress made by
the project. A channel of communication is maintained between the client
and us right through the execution of the project down to the final solution.
With the help of well-defined processes and a winning business methodology,
InApp covers risks involved in an offshore model. InApp nurtures a proactive
working environment where solutions emerge gradually and this minimizes
such risks.
The effective risk management undertaken at InApp includes the following
components:
- Integrated management practices
- Open dialogue
- Defined process monitoring by client
- Well defined terms of ownership
- Team Focus
- Shared product vision
Onsite Delivery Model
Our onsite delivery model includes the following services: Business
Requirements, Analysis and Technology Assessment, Formulation of Functional
Specifications, Architectural Design, Coding, Testing, Maintenance and
Support.
While the assignment is one, our consultants report to the Onsite Project
Manager and keep our offices posted on a weekly basis.
Hybrid Delivery Model
Hybrid Development is a combination of onsite and offshore services
that deliver results at highly reduced costs. Engineering and development
of detailed specifications are usually done onsite, while software development
and testing are done offshore at our development center in India. This
model maximizes efficiency in resources and costs.
Proven benefits of this model include continuous, near-24 hour work cycles;
the ability to structure and assemble teams with diverse, multiple skill
sets; lower costs for resources and the ability to quickly scale (up or
down) depending on the requirements.
This model optimizes cross-cultural communication, output of onsite teams
and cost efficiency.

Software Engineering Procedures
These cover the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) followed in all
the projects in InApp.
A software project starts with procurement of the contract and it passes
through a development life cycle. After the software development the project
may enter the maintenance phase.
Project Management Procedures
These procedures provide the basis for managing project-related activities
and address the commitments made to the client according to the risks,
resources and constraints of the project.
Software Process Improvement Procedures
These procedures develop and maintain InApp’s standard software
processes, along with related process assets. Process assets include:
- Organizational standard software process also known as AQS
- Description of software life cycles
- Process tailoring guidelines and criteria
