InApp is uniquely positioned to deliver software applications in several niche areas within the Banking sector. InApp's exposure in this segment has thus far been focused on the Middle East and Indian markets. Over the past few years, InApp has been involved in the areas of migration of legacy applications to .NET or J2EE based environments, Signature Authentication, Workflow management systems and Data Encryption.
Signature Conversion and Workflow: InApp has completed work with a Major Bank, based in the Middle East, on an enterprise wide Signature Authentication module. The work involved the development of an interface to convert images from a proprietary legacy format to JPEG. The Message Exchange System for authorization consisted of two different parts: the Transport client for sending and receiving strings and Transport Server to receive messages. The transport client is a .NET API that provides functions for securely sending and receiving binary large objects (BLOBs) between systems over a TCP/IP network using non-blocking sockets. The solution is being used widely as an extension to the customer's core banking application.
Data Security & Data Encryption: InApp developed and deployed MoneyTrans, an application that oversees secure transfer of data on inter-organizational financial transfers between various agents of a Bank to the back-end core Banking application. The application uses 1024-bit encryption algorithms. On the server side of the application, the source of the data is validated. The file is decrypted before the data is handed out to the core banking application for further processing.
InApp is keen to explore long-term partnerships with Banks, Insurance and Financial Institutions, where we can contribute on projects through our technology expertise on legacy-to-J2EE/.NET migration, Security and Authentication solutions and customized workflow management solutions. InApp's CMMI Level 5-assessed project delivery model ensures that its clients in this sector gets the best of both worlds in terms of cost and quality.
